Electronic self build kit for JOTA 2011 THE SIGNAL FINDER
For the next JOTA-JOTI 2011, the Service Kring JOTA JOTI have invented and prepared another nice electronic self build kit. Well, we have one comment to make on that "invented" because the design is derived from a Pushpin construction solder project which was prepared by Richard Oostmeyer (PE0RIG) for the day of the Radio Amateur for there QRP's. And of course we offered PE0RIG our first kit, as thanks, because we were allowed to use his design.
We named the kit The signal finder, and it is capable of making various electrical signals audible, that are secretly produced by a range of equipment and products in our direct environment, without us hearing these sounds with our ears.
Besides the signal finder, we also have prepared a small little transmitter , which can make a electric field , and then you can connect a mp3player or similar device to it. This combination can be used to have a real indoor fox-hunt going. You only need a few transmitters to have the kids enjoy a exciting game, beside only listening to hidden sounds.
The signalfinder is now available for ordering true the warehouse module
